A 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Five years ago we lost one of my favorite actors and entertainers, Jerry Orbach. He has been men aforementioned in some of my quizzes. His wisecracking, sarcastic wit ,makes "Law and Order" reason enough to watch. He was the type of guy who could make a laundry list woth listening. RIP Mr. Orbach, everytime I watch you on TV I consider it a privilege to have admired your work.

I totally agree..Law and Order is not the same without Jerry Orbach playing Lennie...He was what made the show.

But one small negative: He [as Dr. Jake Houseman- Dirty Dancing ] wanted to put Baby in the corner.

He was a fine actor and had a commanding presence.

Sure do miss Jerry Orbach! What an awesome and naturally gifted actor! Law and Order was lucky to have him, and it's my understanding that many NYC policemen loved him for his portrayal of a smart-mouthed and world-weary cop. Being Baby's father in "Dirty Dancing" was a much more nuanced achievement than has widely been noted, and certainly a stellar acting standout in a professional way. His contributions to Broadway, television and cinema will forever be appreciated from this loyal fan! God bless you, Jerry!
