Note that when you are logged in, you will always see your vitals at the top of every page on the site... I will be adding a toggle in user preferences to turn this on/off.

By going to Your Account > Account Management > Account Preferences you can now select exactly which stats you would like to have displayed at the top of each page.

I like it, pretty cool feature. And anyone can decide whether or not they want to use it. Or how much of it they want.

Good Job!

I like it!

By the way, Justin, since there is no other way to communicate, and we have not heard from you,

You can send me a message. Thank you.

Thank you Justin, If there is another way to talk to you I would be happy to. Let me know.

I have some information in the "Salty Dog".
It is the weekend of September 16, 17. So far I have about 11 people (not including their families) who expressed interest but not all of them have confirmed yet. The place is downtown Chicago. Your help would be very much appreciated since just your presence there may be a great incentive for people to come.

Thank you.

Your post said if I go to my account I can choose which stats I want at the top? Well I want the top to display Rabidog's stats...that way I can pretend I have 13 billion points.

They are so subtle and tasteful that even after I read this thread I couldn't find them. Took me a long time. LOL

Wonderful, excellent idea, but the small type in white on gray is hard to see for those of us who need bifocals or varifocals for fine print, mainly because bifocal correction only works well for fine print at the BOTTOM of the screen.

I think I speak for most of the over-50 members in suggesting a font size at least 2 or 3 points larger and a more contrasty color scheme.

Thanks Justin - you are making some great additions to hte site.

I am partially sighted, In fact my worst eye is almost blind , and yet I can make out the states bar pretty well. Okay, if It was a whole block of text it would be pretty impossible to see but as it is I think it is great. I think any more definition it might be introusive. Also some people with visual problems see white on black easier and vice versa. It will never be perfect for everyone.

I think a feature where the text size on the page could be increased would be far more useful.

Larrybus - You sure speak for me, especially in the morning before my eyes have decided to try to focus for the day. I have to get real up close and personal with my computer screen in order to read those numbers!

MRSGC - if you have a mouse with a wheel, you can change the size of the text on your current page by holding down Ctrl on the keyboard and scrolling the wheel up or down - one way will make the text larger and the other smaller.

Also, on the menubar at the top of the screen, there is an option until 'View' for 'text size' - you can choose to make the text larger on all pages all the time with that.

Maybe one of these will make it possible for you to do wordrounds again?!

Berylm - Thanks but for some reason that does not work on this site. I had already tried doing it bia the menu but I was not aware I could do it with the mouse so at least I gained a new bit of knowledge today :D

Love the stats, Justin - thanks!

Just one small thing - any chance of less repetition? By which I mean "of 12,776" on the end of each one, repeating the month name, etc - after all, these are stats for people using the site who know what they're looking at! I've had to turn off some of the stats simply because they were running into three lines and taking up so much space!

Something like the following would be a lot easier to read and use (at least, for me!)

Totals: Players: 12,776, Points: 10,000,000, Rank: #12,000 - Monthly Ranks: Author: #10,000, WordRounds: #5,000, WordPuzzles: #4,000

etc? That would be great ...?!
