SILENT SPEAKERS WP

Nifty idea, excellent phrases with a few verbs you don't see often here = superlative puzzle.

(Overcame my unfamiliarity with an ultra popular TV program I never watched too)

I loved it - thought it was very clever. I also loved that it was written by 2 of the best Word Puzzlers, which meant they couldn't compete for the money!! LOL

Great puzzle.
Like Bigbird said "written by 2 of the best Word Puzzlers" so I was kinda dreading it, but it wasn't TOO hard and I enjoyed it.
Thanks U2.

We usually cringe at Barrys WPs but this was absouletly delightful. Great helpful clues and great sentences.

Kauf -- only Barry and Gary get paid for doing WPs -- I thought everyone knew that!

Us - we just get a bottle of Jack Daniels in the mail from my editor when we make a good one. (Don't we Sploofunky??????)

Top-notch array of subject matter and terrific clues as well. I'll admit I'd be happier, however, if Charlie Chaplin had "rejected" making talkies in the thirties instead of "resisted."

Thanks everybody for the compliments - once again the creative genius behind this was Barry. Really liked the concept when he sent it to me and enjoyed working with him again. (And the opera one was his, not mine!) Sorry Lamizell but the Charlie Chaplin one was mine - agree "rejected" would have fit nicely.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.
(I posted this one -- hope it does not appear in the middle of some other thread).
The partnership deal works very well for me -- principally because all my partners keep my eccentricities under control -- no bad thing.
Anyone who would like to do a partnership deal and has an idea (or would like me to suggest one) please drop me a line.
