HOW 'BOUT THE COWBOYS

The Boys are back in town. Finally after almost 15 years they win a playoff game. Maybe they can beat the Vikes next week.

I'm looking forward to Jared Allen planting Romo in the Metrodome turf!

I'm no Cowboys fan but they sure looked like the real deal to me. If they keep this level of pay up, no one will stop them. The Eagles didn't belong on the field with them....sorry Eagles fans.

The Eagles are just terrible, they were terrible last week and where again last night. I don't think the Cowboys are as good as the Eagles are bad. The playoffs should be fun!

I don't think the Cowboys are that good period...I find it interesting that all the sudden they play like that? I wonder if they took a page from the Patriots play book. Go Vikings!

My ex roots for the Eagles, so I had to go with the cowboys on this one. Now that's its over, looking forward to the team going down in flames! Not a Romo fan here....

That would be great .However since the Cowboys and the Saints are both NFC teams if they both win next week they will meet to detemine who will represent the NFC in the Superbowl. Nice to see Romo finally win a playoff game. A long time coming.

What a game!
Favre is amazing, AND hot, which, my daughter tells me, is not a criteria when you are looking at the quality of a football player.

Well, I was a little surprised to see just about all of the ESPN experts picking Dallas which is still suspect as a playoff team. I still thought the home team Vikings had too many weapons + the crowd and deserved to be favored.

Face it. The NFC East stunk this year. Totally overrated because they were getting all those wins beating up on each other, Oakland (usually. Oops!) and Kansas City. How many playoff teams from other divisions did NFC Least teams defeat? Best I can recall, Dallas beat New Orleans when the Saints had stopped caring about the regular season, and that's it. The Cowboys lost twice to the woeful Giants, and should have lost at home to the pathetic Redskins. Philadelphia escaped those traps, but their trip to Oakland is probably a good gauge. Bottom line, I was totally unsurprised to see this division not win any playoff games, save for eating their own.

Note to self:

Do NOT call my son for a few days. I hate hearing a grown man suffer.

It looks like next week will be very interesting...The Saints play the Vikings and the Jets will play the Colts...Remember in Super Bowl III when Joe Namath told everyone that the Jets would beat the Colts? Johnny Unitas was the Colts quarterback and the Colts were still in Baltimore (in case some of you didn't know this). I predict the Saints and the Colts in the Super Bowl but I could be wrong...

Let's not get too gaga over the Jets who have played tough and competently the last two weeks with a rookie QB. NB - I think that together Cincinnati and San Diego missed 5 field goals out of 5 attempts on dry fields, no? Push at least three of those through the uprights and maybe the Jets are home next weekend watching others play.

Vikes-Saints should be a wonderful match-up!

I like the Viking - Saints too. If Favre has a day like yesterday, he will be tough to beat.
