SCATTERGORIES ALA SUMMERTIME

I enjoy the game of "Scattergories", but beyond that; I love the game! For those perhaps unfamiliar with this word game, I've included a brief explanation on how the game is played ala Summertime.

Each "Round" will consist of a different category. EACH INDIVIDUAL PLAYER will provide a response for that catergory using the LETTER I've used to start the round. Example: The category is "colors" and the letter is "P". It's a good idea to expand the horizon with your guess; in other words think of something other than pink, such as pale red, peach, pigment, purple or puce.

My word will be a "silent" response, just for the fun of it, to see if anyone comes up with the same response. I will keep EACH ROUND TO A MANAGEABLE LIST of 25 responses, so please be kind and number your response to avoid duplications; and to ease the strain of my brain's grey matter.

The first category is - SANDWICHES
The first letter of each response is to begin with the letter "M" and may consist of any number of words beginning with any
other letters.

Build the list using the name of a sandwhich or anything to do with a sandwich, including ingredients, preparation style, etc. (You're not surprised I've started with this category, right?) I hope you enjoy my version of "Scattergories"!

Okay, response #1 please!

Okay, see where there are a whole lot of spellings for that one -- mainly Muffaletta and Muffuletta. Does spelling count?

By the way, is there a limit on an individual player's number of guesses per round? I may be in default mode now...

Mashed potato sandwich...good with beef but also idiomatically equivalent to a pig's ear.

Congratulations Lucimoore!!!! I too had selected "meatloaf" in the sandwich catergory! For sure a meatloaf, made with quality ingredients, is delicious, but what better lunch the next day, then a cold, sliced meatloaf sandwich! Thanks to those that played!

So, is this all there is? Do you plan to start another one? I think it would be easier to do if each game was a separate thread -- but you're the mastermind of this game, so you do it however you want.
