Not so long ago, I recall reading in one of these posts that all numerical quizzes would be done away with. Then again that's all I seem to be seeing lately in the KIDS category. What level of skill or additional knowledge does one get in adding, substracting simple numbers.

Don't mean to offend anyone but i think that's a waste of real estate.

Ditto for quizzes that are just mere repetitions of what is already out there

...JUST thinking aloud

I think if we all remember back to our elementary school days, timed tests of simple adding, subtracting and multiplying were a weekly or even daily affair in our classes. The kids enjoy them because they are actually challenging to them. Math quizzes are only allowed in the kids only category to keep adult players from scoring easy points by wizzing through them.

As editors we make sure that nobody plagiarizes and makes an exact copy of a quiz. would not be fair that a new member who is a big fan of the television show Friends couldn't create a quiz about their favorite show just because too many other people had. With the ever growing Sploofus population, however old the subject matter, new quizzes on the same topic are still enjoyable to many of the Sploofusers here.
