I just recieved an email from uclonewolf3 (Marilyn) concerning her granddaughter. She is in the hospital and the doctors will be doing surgery on her in the morning. She has a 7mm kidney stone and they are going to remove it. I know that Marilyn would greatly appreciate the prayers...Thanks everyone...I'll keep ya all posted as soon as I hear from Marilyn again...

I will hold you in my thoughts Marilyn. Sunday morning surgery would indicate your granddaughter is seriously hurting; I offer my support to you as a friend and sympathize with you in this time of angst.

I will say a special prayer for you both.
I have an idea of the physical and mental anguish that you are all going through.
May GOD give you the strength during these trying times.

Thanks, to Vickie, for starting the prayer chain, and thanks to each and everyone of you for your prayers, thoughts and good wishes. I would have been at the hospital, but I had to keep Kaleb, her 5 yr. old brother. Her mother, dad and granddad were there. I just talked to Chenoa, and she is out of recovery and in her room. They are waiting to see whether she spends the night or not. She is 14 and will be 15 in Feb. She had a Ureteroscopy, and the kidney stone was 7mm and too large to pull out whole, so he had to break it up and there is not supposed to be anything left of it but small gritty particles which he said should pass easily. Hopefully that is true. She has a stent which she is to have for about a week. Hopefully all goes well with that too. Her other grandmother had complications with some large fragments left causing a blockage. She had a different doctor though, different hospital, and Chenoa's Urologist has had many years of experience and is a good doctor.

Thanks again, and I hope you all have a great Sunday!

So glad to hear good news. Praying for a speedy recovery. (There is a shortage of urologists, so very happy to hear she is in such good hands)

Thank you, everyone. Your kind thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
I'm actually not in too much pain. The stent is uncomfortable but not painful.
I have a follow-up appointment with my urologist on the 27th to get the stent removed,
so by then I should be as good as new!
