IN THE ARTISTS STUDIO

Thanks for an interesting change of pace. I liked the idea.
As a non-artist, I knew what four of my phrases refer to, but the fifth though perfectly fair
was highly technical and really caught me out.
Luck of the draw I guess.

Is there an error in this puzzle? The text below one of the clues would have fit another item better, didn't make a lot of sense. But I loved the puzzle overall.

Like Barry, we were spot on and had only 14 letters in four. And..then came the last one. All in all, a grand puzzle. Thanks.

I enjoyed the puzzle but I also got caught by the last of my puzzles. I use brushes of sable and hog bristle or various other kinds of hair but for the fifty plus years I've been painting, I have never heard or used the term fitch. I guess old dogs can learn something new every day.
