A thread was deleted regarding this puzzle as it was felt that it gave away too much. The thread starter will be invited to repost after the puzzle has ended. Thank you!

Took a few letters on the first two to get the hang of it then last three, knocked out in no time flat - kinda quirky and fun - who do we have to thank for this? - is this a Garrybl/ Maurlin combo? If so - thanks

It was indeed a garrybl/maurlin, six plus months in the making.
Linda took ill a few months back and it just sat around -- to a degree that she'd forgotten it was hers when the quiz came up!

Should have guessed Barry was involved.

Clark Gabble? What the heck was that? I suppose most folks caught the cute clue in "Rhettorical Mutter," but I didn't and completely went off track thinking that actual words would appear in the answer!

That whining out of the way, very clever and enjoyable puzzle.

Dave, Rhettorical was the only clue I did get, but what fun anyway!

I was fooling around with "babble" when that one clicked. I felt sorry for the people who got "Video Killed the Andrews Sisters," though. The only reason I'm familiar with "Video Killed the Radio Star" or the Buggles is because it was the first video ever played on MTV. If you didn't know that factoid, I don't think "Boogie Woogie Buggle Boy" would come naturally -- although I guess that's the default doubling answer.

Enjoyed it loads! This month has been filled with ingenuity.

I'm the naughty one that got deleted. With good reason after all.

Really enjoyed this one. Thanks.

Very funny bbear.
I would not have been allowed to include you even if I had thought of it though!
