I will never set the world on fire with anything that deals with music. It is my exempt category and I know zilch about ANYTHING connected with music. I did surprise myself on this one though. Still won't place in the top 100 but what the heck? I finished it! Good job Gary.

I just loved it.
The 'aha' moments are priceless....
I wish I was as good at slicko's puzzles as he is at mine! i'm sure my score won't hold up -- but what the heck... still had a great time.

Good one. I wasn't familiar with a couple of the songs, so some struggle there. But, as always, very clever.

Nice one. I didn't get to finish, but loved the premise.

Yeah Slicko....Good one....
Sure Mozart would have been the first one to appreciate the
very clever "plays on words"
I'm high as a kite on morphine right now....don't know if that
helped or hindered, but it's the first WP I''ve finished for days

Very clever puzzle. Definitely a "pop cultural" concept.

Happy birthday Wolfie!

Gary -- we would have been SOOO in first (by 5 moves) if hubbie hadn't had a brain fart about music from his 3rd favorite composer!!! Dang.

Good one!

Thanks folks - I'm afraid Mozart is rolling in his grave after we adulterated some of his greatest works, but it was still fun. Have made it through the first 39 symphonies - time to finish them off for with Number 40 and then the Jupiter.

You had an "aha" moment, Barry? What was it? "Take On Giovanni Me"? I didn't get that one.

Hope I am not too late to add my praises to this puzzle. I always look forward to them

Breezed through the first two, then hit a Fibonacci sequence in terms of time and brain cells. I enjoyed it, but I still maintain it's not really fair to use modern songs that weren't released as singles.

Way cool, Slick!

Did you know I got a present on Mozart's birthday?

Sorry, Lamizell, I have to disagree with that quibble. There are tons of great songs on popular albums that weren't released as singles, and making a puzzle like that (and that well) is plenty hard without such a big restriction, I'm thinking.

Enjoyed it, Gary! Thanks!
