I'm watching the pink mass move across the map of lower Tennessee, knowing it's headed our way. We will catch the edge of it and probably get less than a foot of snow, so we'll do fine unless we lose electricity again (a generator is high on our priority list).

So Vickie/vlcrowe and all the others in the path of this storm, our thoughts are with you and hope all stay safe. Our son and his wife were heading to a scheduled vacation in TN, but between this and the fact that his National Guard unit will probably be called up to help in it, they will probably postpone the trip. The young feel so immortal.

Most of Oklahoma is without power now. Stay warm and safe and remember those who can't.

Thanks for caring my friend..we have 6 inches as of 6 p.m. and it's still coming down pretty heavy...Hubby barely made it up our drive way earlier...There have already been several wrecks in and around where I live. Suppose to change over to sleet mixed with snow by morning...Got my kerosene lamps and wood all ready in case the power goes...I heard that Ringgold Georgia also has about 6 inches of the white stuff. We are under a winter storm warning until 1 p.m. tomorrow...more snow on the way on Monday they say...I have a big hill behind my house you wanna go sledding?

Hey, here in NC snow coming down since 6 pm and is expected to accumulate to 6 inches or more, up to a foot in the north. We also will get some sleet and freezing rain on into the nite and tomorrow. I got to work and am staying at my job all weekend. It does look pretty but I am glad I am not on the road. What is worse is it is supposed to be 8 degrees by Sunday morning. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
