Those music ones take me down every time. Otherwise, lots of fun

I would hate to have to play mindgames against slicko. He seems to be able to read my intentions far better than my wife.

Based on a couple of your other puzzles thought I knew where you guys were headed. Took a few letters on the first one to confirm, then smooth sailing after that - very cool puzzle.

Oh dear, I think I may be learning to read Barry's and Dave's minds. Great puzzle guys. Very clever.

Loved the Word Puzzle, even if my brain locked up as soon as I started on it.

Um, can you get a reset if you pause to get something to drink and your nephew unexpectedly takes over?

I believe you are disqualified for as Tom Lehrer would put it:
'Nepotism and intrigue'

[You in the back of the class can look it up]

Thanks to those who enjoyed it. As usual, this was Barry's wacky idea, and I just offerred up some silly suggestions.

And kudos to Ken Kaufman for probably the most amazing score ever on a WP--5 moves in 81 seconds. I could see that score on a WP where a bunch of us got it in 5 moves, but Slicko was the only other player in single digits--9 (at least as of the time I went to bed last night), and he struggled away for something like 600 seconds. (Said by someone who often takes 2000 seconds to finish these things!)

I want a time discount...couldn't resist reading the puns to hubby after finishing each one! Rating: 5 groans

I'll be the first to admit I was lucky. My first clue was something like "Frank Sinatra's Lunar Utopia". I'm no Sinatra expert, but I do know "Fly Me To The Moon". And then looking at the word lengths and puzzle title, I saw that the second word needed something more. A moment to connect the dots and the whole puzzle was cracked open. The last 40 seconds or so had two familiar movie references and two familiar music references ... and wonderful hand-holding clues for those who could see the pattern.

Barry- Since I was in the back of the class, I did look up "nepotism and intrigue". Does Ken now get the rank of Sploofus Specialist 3rd Class, without portfolo?
