We were confused. 3 of 5 of ours were puns and the other two were facts. It's very confusing. Would have enjoyed on or the other better.

Clues were helpful, however.

I liked the mix of clues -- not my subject but still lotsa fun. Excellent idea!

This one was a little different, but it was fun to put together. And there were a few that may not have seemed like puns but they really were. Here are all ten (with explanations):
German forestry choice:
A lumberman enjoys drinking lager ( German lager - Logger)
A pint: Doctor's orders :
Beer is good for what ales you ( A pint of ale - ails)
Best intoxicated feline:
The cat was drunk when it bitter tail (Best bitter - bit her)
Savor the strong grain:
You need a good malt liquor to taste the barley in beer (Malt liquor is strong - malt "licker")
Belgian ovine inkpen:
A baby sheep writes with a lambic (Belgian lambic - lamb Bic)
Advance one base (darkly):
When the pitcher made a mistake the umpire gave him a bock (Bock - balk)
Breezy treat on tap:
A windy day is the best time to have a draught beer (draught - draft)
Malty salty accompaniment:
Wheat pretzels when we drink beer (Wheat beers are malty - wheat - "we eat")
No aged mixologist needed:
When she came to the bar she porter self a beer (Aged porter - poured her)
Drop a bucket in India:
If I spill a pale ale just go fill it up again (Indian Pale Ale - If I spill a pail, I'll just go fill it up again)

So there they are - sorry if any of the puns seemed factual.
And March will be here before you know it.

This was very clever. Not knowing my 'brews,' some of it was lost on me, but most of the ones I had I could figure out. Hmmm, that March remark sounded a little ominous! I wonder what's in store for then.

I don't spend my day in a tavern, I swear. Cannot believe I came in #1. Obviously, the puzzle went to my head,

Yes, they were all puns, excellent puns, but my first one wasn't clearly punny by itself and I didn't get into the swing of things quickly enough.

Congratulations, Alice!

I thought t'was a fun puzzle, though I didn't do well. It was fun to put the puzzles together once they were done. good job
