RIDDLE A LA FELIX

I sent Felix an idea but I suspect he is away or not reading posts, so I'm going to try to post this one and see how it works out.

The following three people are members of a club. Please suggest legitimate alternative members.

Geronimo
Robert Wadlow
Gene Autry

Maske sure you don't get blackballed!

Dont see any suitable candidates.
I'm heading out; when I get back I'll post a parallel group of three that also needs a fourth.

And as for Smaug's Bush & Bush, perhaps LBJ or Ike would have been more genuine.

I'm confused. Did we ever get a correct 4th on the first group? Are the 2 groups similar or the same?

The two groups are parallel; and a suitable candidate for the first group would be Eddie Edwards.

There are eight sets of four.
Here are the possible members of one set of four:

Nathan Hale (or Paul Revere)
Riff (or Tony)
Wild Bill Hickok or (William Frederick Cody)

And who else?

Answer tomorrow.

I'm sorry that I missed your post, Barry. This is another excellent idea. I really though that Smaug would see right thru it.

We were due to put the answer up anyway Felix. Thanks for bringing it to an end.

Each set was three of the four teams in an NFC/AFC division. EG
A Jet, a Patriot, a Buffalo Bill and you needed to find a Dolphin.

I'd have accepted Flipper

I guess my answer of Brian "Dolphin" Taylor was too subtle.

Well, I PMed Felix my sort of answer, sports teams, but I was thrown off by some wrong guesses that weren't refuted.

...stoopid Smaug...
