AN RECORD THAT MAY BE TIED BUT NOT BROKEN...

I just noticed: "RABIDDOG just won 2,147,483,647 points on a trivia wager"

I am guessing that means there is a house limit on wagers at 2^31-1 points, because no doubt Rabiddog would have bet more were it permitted. So much for anyone entering the Trillionaires' club too soon. Even if he aces every TQOTD, always bets the max, and collects a bunch of incidental points, we're still looking at no fewer than 12 years.

The only thing that might speed up the process is getting a stack of Showdown challenges from the #2 position, winning some, and losing others (so as to bolster the value of the next challenge). Of course, the Showdown point transfers may be similarly capped. Maybe we'll find out next year.

There's also a limit of 214,748,364 points on showdowns. I'm assuming that's not intentional, because when you start a showdown (or a dry run) it calculates the correct 10% values for the win or loss.

It's a tent of that same magic number, so that must be a "feature."
