Today if he was still alive Babe Ruth would have turned 115. So somebody jog my memory, what was his place in baseball history. Some curse if i rememeber. LOL Babe may you rest in peace.

He's the guy who is second on the all time home run list. Some statistics list him as third, but they put some guy named Bonds first and we know there's no way a little scrawny guy like him could hit 762 home runs. (Of course he was scrawny back when I watched him play for the Pirates - must have been all that good clean San Francisco air that helped him bulk up.)

Since we have managed to tie together Babe Ruth and a former President of the United Sates...In 1930, Babe Ruth was making $80,000 a year which was more than President Herbert Hoover. When asked if he felt that was okay Babe's answer was "I had a better year."
