A-Z QUIZZES

Has any one out there managed to author a quiz that starts with every letter of the alphabet?

I'm short of a v, x, y and z but have written quizzes that starts with every other letter.
I wonder what my next 4 quizzes could be?
Any suggestions for me for a quiz title that starts with a V, X, Y or Z?
Thanks

I think Tuzilla did last year - I certainly did the x, q and z

I wrote a quiz called "Caution X-Rated!"

Careful though, it's kinda diabolical....

Bushyfox I just took your quiz and I thought it was good, at least it is something different.

Just a wee update, I have now written one for V about vitamins (still to be launched) y for young of animals (still to be launched) and one for Z.

So just have to work on one for x now.
Perhaps something about x-rated if thats aloud.Lol

Hi from a newbie... I recently tried to author a quiz about porn movies (ie. X rated movies), and I was informed that the content was inapropriate. I can't argue with that, and I think my submission was a bit cheeky anyway....

Perhaps a quiz about X-ray machines, or the X-Men?... Maybe X-treme sports?, international Xylophones?

Cheers,
Marc

Perhaps an Xmas Quiz. I know it isn't correct spelling, but it does get mentioned in dictionaries now.

Just to save you the time and energy, you should know the the editing staff recently discussed the matter of quizzes on X-rated movies, and reconfirmed that any such thing antithetical to maintaining Sploofus' reputation as a family-friendly site could not be allowed to pass through. It might not be impossible to write a quiz on such a subject that wouldn't be inappropriate for the site, but since so much of the subject area would be out of bounds, it probably wouldn't be worth the bother.

Woah, two negatives in a sentence. lol
'Wouldn't be inappropriate'

Man if my boss ever caught me writing that in a sentence I would get sacked straight away (I'm a journalist). I was always taught to simplify.
Surely you mean 'Would be appropriate' lol

I knew what you meant anyway.
To be honest though, films receive x-rating, not just because they are films of what you think of, but some are just because of extreme violence or something of a similar ilk. Your message has made me think of not bothering writing the quiz at all, but then part of me wants to chance it anyway. lol
I know you would (ie: the editors) may be agianst the idea on principle but im sure it could be done in such a way that it would be ok. But I reckon it may take a lot of thinking on my part to do it so there is no way it is 'dodgy'. Having said that, I may well just forget to do it. lol

I'm also a journalist and 'wouldn't be inappropriate' does not contain two negatives - 'inappropriate' is simply a word with a meaning.
The phrase also has totally different connotations to 'would be appropriate'.

Cool, another journo. lol
Perhaps it is just the way we have been taught or learned that makes us see it different. As i said (or t least think i did) it was not wrong per see, it is just not how i would have written it.

Here is the original sentence.
It might not be impossible to write a quiz on such a subject that wouldn't be inappropriate for the site.

Here is how i would have written it.
It might be possible to write a quiz on such a subject that would be appropriate for the site.

Exactly the same meaning.

Oh and on another note, see the Editors I hope they remain annonymous, and you all do such a good job.
