Anyone watching? I am loving it! Love Boston Rob! Unfortunately looks like he has a medical issue next week. Hope he isn't out as he is thoroughly entertaining. Also love that Tyson's smart mouth. First show and they had a dislocated shoulder and a broken toe - should be a great season!

Sorry I haven't posted. But, this has become a fascinating season. I really do not like Russell, even though he manipulates through intimidation and lies - most people fall for it. Don't like Pavarti either, but at least she goes toe to toe with Russell. I'm hoping Sandra wins.

This has been a fun season. Last season, I was pulling for Russell. Not because he's likable or anything, but because he was the best player. He manipulated those idiots so he went from being down 8-4 to having his 4 be the final 4. The only reason the idiots didn't give him the million was because they hated him so much.

But this season, he is pissing me off. He's still playing it the exact same way, but there are people I actually like and would like to see outsmart him. Granted, they are at a disadvantage in that this season was filmed before 19 was aired, so they don't realize just how manipulative he is.

I'm amazed Rupert and Colby are still hanging in there. That whole rock in the pocket Rupert pulled was classic Survivor fake-out. Loved it. I always loved both Rupert and Colby and would love to see either one win. I never like Sandra and still don't.

Anyone but Russell this season. Or Parvati. Never liked her, either.

I didn't see Sandra's "season" so I don't know anything except what I've seen this season. I'm a little irritated that she hasn't been able to convince at least one other person to vote with her along with the Heroes to vote off Russell. I'm wondering if at the back of their minds they think they have a great chance if they pair with him in the final two and they'll win because everyone else loathes him.

I'm of two minds. Since he lost last time, I'm wondering if he's come up with a humdinger of a speech to convince the jury that he needs to win because his opponent is a coat-tail rider or he'll list all the things he's done this season as genius moves to get him to the final two.

On the other hand, I think you win more money the further you go in the game, and I would like of him to go down HARD.

He's had a great advantage over everyone else this season in that he's been able to study their moves before this started, and they didn't know anything about him, other than the classic understatement Rupert said, "He's on the villain tribe for a reason."

I STILL cannot believe JT actually GAVE Russell an immunity idol. Wow. That will go down in Survivor history has the dumbest mistake ever.

BTW if you haven't watched these, go to the CBS website and check out a couple of videos on the Ponderosa, where kicked off Survivors stay while they are on the jury. Very interesting. It also shows them being weighed and tells how much weight each person lost.

J.T.! What a bone-headed move that was. I get where they were coming from - it did look like a woman's alliance, but they should have listened to Sandra. Previews make it look like the guys are going to work together to try to get rid of girls. Might be good for a blindside or two.

I haven't watched those vids, Pepper. I'll have to go check those out.

I couldn't get the videos of the Ponderosa to load up. Am I missing something?

Hmmm, Judy, not sure why Ponderosa isn't loading for you. Let me just say they have a wonderful cook and they eat very well. Usually they give a nice welcome to the recently booted off person. However, when Candace was voted off a couple of weeks ago, nobody talked to her the first day. The second day she and Amanda talked things over and patched things up and then it was okay.

They are interesting videos. Hope you can get them to work.

I am torn in who I want to win. Colby is the only "hero" left but he hasn't been doing much. I don't know why.
I want anyone-but-Russell to win. That would be such a bad message to send to let a bully win and then proclaim him the best Survivor ever. Contestants from here on forward would try to emulate him, and I don't know if I could stand watching that. I have difficulty watching him now.
Not a fan of Pavarti, especially when she is acting smug, but I'd pick her over Russell. I'm okay with Sandra or Jeri, although none of these people have been my favorites over the past seasons.

By the end, I was pulling for Jerri or Sandra as the least hateful of the villains. I'm not surprised Sandra won. Parvati was just way too cocky, I think. And frankly, yes, she rode Russell's coattails all the way. She liked to act like she was making the decisions, but please.

I agree that Russell is a horrible person, but he sure knows how to pull people's strings. I cannot believe those people believed him. By the end they were just counting on no one wanting to vote for him, and they were right, but at first, good grief.

I thought it was soooooo funny when Jeff told him to clam up and explained that Russell's constant blah blah blah was what they had to deal with all the time. I know from other interviews and things that the 5 minutes or so of Tribal Council that we usually see is edited down from sometimes hours of actual discussions. I guess Russell made himself even more of an ass than we saw. I've heard people say they were edited to look bad. Who knew Russell was being edited to look better?!?! LOL

LOL! If that was editing to make Russell look good, I'd hate to see what bad editing would do.
I sincerely hope they NEVER invite him back to another season. I was VERY uncomfortable with the constant bullying. The lying and manipulation was happening all over. But the bullying made the women (at least to his face) cower.

My favorite moment was when Sandra burned his hat! He's the kind of person who just begs to get put in his place. If he had won this thing, I think I would have gone to the CBS website, found the email address of the president of CBS, and fired off a humdinger.
