Under 5 feet, you are no long a person?

Less than 20 feet tall, it gets demoted to being a bush?

Shorter than 40 foot long becomes a semi-semi-truck

Smaller than a Cocker Spaniel, it ain't a dog...well, now...hmmmmmm

The power of the International Astronomical Union (governing body for naming objects) is is centralized in an affluent social class.

The wanted to be the only Plutocracy around.....

Gee, that sounded better in my head.....

By Jove all this earthy saturnalia makes me feel quite mercurial - just off to give my Neptune's beard the love it deserves.

(who's a bit of an arse - and in case it's still being included, will never be plutocratic)

How are the Starship Enterprise and toilet paper alike?

They both circle Uranus looking for Klingons...

Because of it's widely eliptical orbit Pluto heats rapidly as is nears the sun loosing mass in the process, so in a few million more years it will dwindle away.....guess we'll all miss that event....

RIP and thanks, Clyde Tombaugh, for sticking up for Pluto.
We miss your ash.

Too bad for all the astrologers. Just when they had it all figured out, the have to revise their charts. They thank God everyday, I bet, for not getting newly discovered planets each year!
If you started naming anything circling the sun as a planet, you will be forever naming all the asteroids too. Pluto is just too minor to qualify as a planet.
