Brought back memories when I used to watch soaps in college.

Thrown off by an odd (possibly even poor!) word choice on one of them, but otherwise thought it was fun

I don't watch them at all, but many of the facts were accessible cultural literacy. Good job.

I must say that this puzzle got me to wondering how someone could play the same role for 30-40-50 years.

I'll admit to watching one of them - but not any that I got as puzzles. Hey, I don't smoke, drink, or watch reality shows - and this is about as far from reality as one can get.

OK, I'll come clean on the one that seemed strange to me: the one about Luke and Laura that repeated the word "wedding." I was surprised to see it repeated in general, but also because it wasn't just the highest-rated soap wedding ever; it was the highest-rated (most watched) hour of daytime tv ever. Seems like quite a difference to me.

But otherwise, enjoyed it a lot

I thought you were probably complaining about the use of "supercouple" in another puzzle. But I had that wedding-wedding one, too, and admit to holding my breath when submitting the answer.

Really enjoyed the puzzle, Vickie.
Thanks for including the most popular British soap opera. I've never seen any of the American ones but I've watched Coronation Street for 40 years!!

I had the wedding one as well. I remember that day well. The kids were OK all day - though distracted. Then there was dismissal. My 9th grade homeroom class was uncontrollable. They had to get out of the building so that they could get home and watch the wedding. Here I was, trying to maintain some sort of decorum at the end of the day, and they were having none of it. It was BIG!
