OLYMPIC QUESTION?

Curling? All of those ladies look like they had straight hair to me. So what's up with that?

Curling: A scottish game in which heavy weights of stone or iron are propelled by hand over the ice towards a mark.

Curling: Defining natural curls

Step 1:
Co-Wash (washing hair with conditioner) your hair. While conditioner is on your hair comb through hair with a wide tooth comb. Be sure to massage your scalp to promote growth. Rise conditioner completely out of hair. You can shake the excess water from your hair and/or gently use your towel to dry the hair by "scrunching it".

Step 2:
Apply coconut/olive/tea tree oil to hair generously. FOr looser curl definition, use fingertips to separate and fluff your hair. For gither curl definition, use the palms of your hands to rub the oil in a circular motion across your head.

Step 3:
Apply moisturizer and a light gel of your choice and work through in the same manner as the oil in the previous step. If you choose to use gel, be sure to use it sparingly. The moisturizer will help to keep your curls soft and moist while the gel will give the curls more hold.

Tips & Warnings:

You can allow your hair to air dry during the day. Also, if you're using gel you can sit under a hooded dryer to allow the gel to dry..
Coconut oil is also a great conditioner for the hair, scalp and skin..
If you have a courser texture of hair, be sure not to comb it unless it is very wet..
If your hair is longer, do not disturb your hair until the gel/moisturizer is completely dry. This will decrease frizziness.

How do you play this game if you are bald?

Seems like a good sport for women. The use of brooms not for riding but as a piece of athletic equipment. I have a hard time thinking of culers as athletes.

Give me Curling over Ice Dancing any day of the year! At least the chicks curling appear to be straight! IrishPainter you have rekindled my love for the sport.

Curling is kinda cool. There are worse things to watch on the Olympics.

It's like frozen shuffleboard. And I love how none of the athletes are in shape. You can't tell me they aren't quaffing Molson's during those three years of practice.

Well, the Scots are probably quaffing something a little more home-grown ...

lol.....I almost wrote "smoking bowls" but they all look a little too rednecky. I must be thinking of the snowboarders.

Yeah, tragedy at the half-pipe; a snowboarder tested negative for pot.
