What a game! I was on my feel yelling, to the familiar "CROSBY SCORES!!!" before I remembered, I wasn't watching the Penguins! It's hard not to be happy for the Canada team.... and hey, the USA got silver... not to shabby!

That game was so exciting I'm tempted to become a hockey fan. That game allowed both the US and Canada to surpass winter Olympic records. The US for most medals won (37) and Canada for most golds (14). Way to go for both!!!

Oh, Fudy, hockey is awesome, once you familiarize yourself with it, you will see the sheer beauty and grace and skill of the sport. Such teamwork, such athleticism, and the players, truly play with their hearts.

What I didn't realize until I went to a hockey game in person, is how many times the players swap out and climb over the low wall in front of the bench to relieve the ones on the floor. I'm amazed at how the game can keep going fluidly when they do the player swaps.

The ratings are in. Yesterday's game was the most watched television event in Canadian history. Canada has 35 million people. It is estimated 60% of the nation watched at least some of the game. What a roar when Crosby scored. Canada the most Gold medals (14) ever by one country in a Winter Olympics.
