That's really interesting. The Scottish gal did much better with inflection than the original American gal on "I told you never to call me here!!" (She was much more intimidating!)

I was trying different words to see about pronunciation. It got "vineyard" right, but couldn't quite get "ambigious".

This will prove a boon to my phone extortion business.

Interesting .... when the year 2010 was used in a sentence some voices would say twenty thousand ten and others said twenty ten

Smaug ... if you used that particular spelling, it would sound a little funny ...

This site is lots of fun. Thanx for posting.

Sargon, perhaps the song "In the year 2525" established how this should be pronounced! If it's eighteen ten and nineteen ten, certainly it should be twenty ten!!!

It doesn't seem able to pronounce floccinaucinihilipilification correctly.

Smaug,
I have this in an email that I save. Some of the words that I would rather not say myself to some of the staff here goes on this. It's also handy if you have someone around at home that is bugging you.
Thanks for sharing a laugh. I finally got to eat some soup instead of Jello and I'm getting my spunk back! This was fun!

For some reason, they all have problems with "Cthulhu loves you."

I'm keeping this site up with a favorite phrase so I'll be ready for telephone solicitors.

Wow, is that impressive! If you ever used Dragon Dictate at the beginning (think a Scandanavian with a bad speech defect) this is sooo neat. As is the mouth moving with the word. Funny use tho. Now if they could get a GPS voice whose left and right I could distinguish (ok, I'm quite hard of hearing even with aids).

Groovy Cool!

But when I got to 'Sangeeta' from India I started having horrific flashbacks to being on the
phone with Dell support.
