A MOMENT TO REMEMBER A GENTLEMAN

Please indulge me as I remember a high school baseball coach who passed on. The best thing about umpiring high school baseball for me are the people you get to meet. They are more than coaches. They get to be your friends. And I was proud to say James Sullivan was just that. He never disrepected an umpire,a player, or a rival teammate. If you look up the word gentleman in the dictionary, it will have his picture. He is a guy you looked forward to seeing and would bust your butt during a game out of respect for him. As good as a coach that he was, he was a better person as well. RIP Jimmy, much love.

There are very few gentlemen left like your friend. My thoughts and prayers to you and his family...
Love,
Vickie

I am deeply sorry for your loss of such a wonderful person in your life.
My prayers are with you and his family, as I will light a candle in the chapel
for him.

oops!

I am SO sorry for your loss. My daughters had a swim coach for fifteen years that meets that same description. He was more than a coach, more like a second dad. He has just found out he has some very serious medical problems. Please say a prayer for him as well.

Blessings,
Anne
