Bwahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa! I can't wait to see the results of this thread.

I am ... at this very moment ... eating Girl Scout cookies and drinking a martini spiked with 5 marachino cherries ( my effort at achieving my "5 a Day" fruit quota).

It is truly a horrible, horrible diet ... BUT ... I *am* supporting the Girl Scouts of America.

Your challenge ... should you choose to accept it ... Tell us what horrible thing you're eating/drinking and then give us your justification. If you cannot supply a justification, just ask US, and we'll supply you with one.

Ruffles potato chips and french's onion soup dip. It wreaks havoc with my digestion, but I crave it so!! I think it's because that's what my parents always left my brothers and I with when they were entertaining friends.

Had my taxes done early Sunday afternoon. We owe for the first time ever. We owe a lot... Stopped at my favorite bakery on the way home and bought pastry. They have the most divine flaky pastries there! I bought apricot sticks, cinnamon walnut pretzels and cherry strudel. Fabulous stuff. Sometimes ya just need some pastry.

I like ice cream. I have to eat the Lactaid stuff, though, so I generally buy vanilla and then put various toppings on it, like Polaner All Fruit (boysenberry). It's really good! I even like ice cream during the winter. I got a craving for ice cream during one of the blizzards we had. I waited for a lull, dug out my car and went to the grocery store. It was actually a lot of fun since I was one of the few shoppers. I felt like a kid all alone in a candy store.

If you're willing to dig out of the snow in a blizzard for ice cream ... that's truly an addiction!

It's not unlike the Sploofus addiction! I know people who will walk to the library in a blizzard when their connection to their home internet access isn't working.

That was me. LMAO!

I think if I had a craving for ice cream during a blizzard, I'd go scoop up some in a big pan and make snow ice cream.

Is that just a Texas thing?

A Dairy Queen Mocha MooLatte. Hey, it's just coffee, right? The only 590 cal coffee in the world, and made just right with tiny bits of ice, on a hot day, wow!

Bugles. With either a peanut butter filling, or an olive sitting on top, like an ice cream cone. Or Fritos. Sometimes I have to have my salt, even when I know what it does to my blood pressure. Especially during the basketball playoffs. Then it's a big bowl of popcorn. And I can't go to a theater movie without the mortgage-your-home size popcorn.

I had some apples I needed to use before they went bad, so naturally, I made an apple pie. Now I'm eating apple pie with ice cream left over from Sunday's indulgence because I can't let either of those go bad, either.

Toast a slice of bread, spread with peanut butter, completely cover with miniature marshmallows, and put under broiler until marshmallows start to brown. Enjoy with a cup of coffee, cup of hot chocolate or glass of cold milk.

Artcr1715, you remind me of a favorite that I haven't had since the English Room closed in Boston. Like your chocolate spree, but coffee. Coffee jello with coffee ice cream on a coffee flavored sponge cake! You had to actually get an extra dessert to do this, or find a friend who didn't want theirs. Oh joy.

Molten Lava Cake

My fav used to be Tunnel of Fudge Cake but Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines (don't remember which) quit making powdered frosting mix and no matter how I try to substitute, it's not the same.

Best thing to eat at the movies? Box of popcorn with Junior Mints mixed in, washed down with a Coke Zero.

To this day, for one, it's a spread made with peanut butter, hot sauce, and pizza cheese swirled in...used for french fries.

FYI, one uses peanut butter, chili paste (galangal), garlic, and soy sauce to make peanut sauce used in Thai cooking. Adds kick to a meal.

Oh yeah, I've had that second sauce you are talking about, it was pretty good. I'm still afraid of the first one though!

Thanks Jeremy. Oh boy....Since childhood, a favorite was two fish sandwiches using 4 Gorton's fish sticks on each, slathered with Heinz ketchup on whole wheat bread. then, for dessert, two big scoops of Braum's Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream atop warm Strawberry shortcake. Those strawberries, the topping, whipped cream, and the chunks of cheesecake seemed to end any meal on a sweet note.

I'm with Tresgatos. I can eat ice cream in any type of weather, after a meal, at bedtime, when I have an upset stomach .... any excuse will do. I have learned to buy the little individual cups or the Weight Watchers bars. That way the serving is measured; if I try to dish it up from a carton, I end up with twice as much as I need.

A close second would be a bag of crunchy Cheetos.

definitely NOT York peppermint patties

But I guess I still enjoy all the snack foods varieties that are so prevalent in this area.

We have about major snack food companies in Central PA.
Potato chips; pretzels [soft pretzels are the best]; Doritoes/tortilla chips, etc;
Also love coconut cream eggs [Easter is coming]

We do have an obesity problem.

Hey Al,
How are your eyes coming along?
I love York Peppermint Patties, but only the regular size, as the mini ones have too thick of the peppermint in them.
I usually put one in the freezer and eat about a quarter of it at one sitting. That's enough sweet for a while, but still love them.
