JUST A THOUGHT : THE TOP 25

I love the fact that the "most popular list" is now 25 quizes long. BUT I have an issue with "in the last 10 days". I think it would be a much better test of the 10 days if the 10 days STARTED when the quiz went live rather than when it is launched.

For example, I launched a quiz yesterday at around 7 am, as I write this at 8:30 pm...there are still over 50 quizes in front of it to go live...so if my quiz goes live tomorrow evening..i will have the opportunity to get be on the top 25 list for 7 days...and i will of course need a few days for the word of my fantastic quiz to spread, giving me only a few days to be on the list.

Just my ramblings, but this would seem to be a better way to see how popular a quiz is..letting every quiz have the same amount of exposure (10 days live)

Wow - I hadn't realised that was the case before, I always thought the 10 days *did* start from the date of release, but you're right - I just checked my last two kids quizzes and they are dated as of 5th and 11th of September, but when I checked my saved messages for the editor's notes saying they're now live, they're dated 7th and 13th ...

Actually, I've asked before for the date on the author's 'Create A Quiz' page to be the date of release, not creation, since the one can be days or even weeks away from the other and the only date of interest to us (once released) is the date of release.

So, a second heartfelt plea - can we PLEASE have the release date in both these instances, not the launch or creation date?!! (obviously once a quiz has been released - until then the other dates are fine).

I do agree with this. Thanks for the post. I hope it can materialize sooner or later. It has happened with some other suggestions, especially the ones about the point system for writing quizzes.

Yeh i totally agree. what i do if i think that one of my quizzes will be or could be one of the most popular, is launch it on the friday or saturday as that is the days when the editors semem to fly through the quizzes and more get launched.
A couple of times I have been lucky to be online when my quiz is sent back to me because of a typo and then i relaunch it that day and it goes live then.

Totally agree - not that I have been able to get anything there in awhile. Sometimes it takes up to 3 days to have a quiz go through the process. Sometimes it is up within hours. There's no telling, and it would seem like a simple fix. By the way, this topic has been up before, and we've all agreed it would be a great idea. But no go, so maybe it isn't as easy to program as it would seem.
