I appreciate all the comments that people make on my quizzes - especially corrections in the text of my questions and answers. The problem is that sometimes a well-meaning comment gives away an answer. Perhaps the person who makes the comment thinks that if they tick the box to send the comment to the author, that the comment goes ONLY to the author. It doesn't. It is also attached to the bottom of the quiz.

This means that I have to ask the editors to remove the comment. I correct the question to reflect the advice on the comment and since the error is no longer there, the comment would continue to confuse new takers.

Could there be two spaces for comments? One for "good quiz", "tough quiz" "well done" which is simply an approval or disapproval of the material in the quiz; and one to alert the author of an error that needs attention.

I am sure this would lighten the load on editors who have to find and delete comments.

Good suggestion.

On the final page, where we rate the quiz and offer comments, the quiz author's name does not show up. While there may be a reason for that, if we had a clickable link there, we could PM our "constructive" comments to the author instead of posting it on the first page of the quiz.

That shouldn't be too hard to create.

Sometimes when I find a small error, it isn't worth the trouble to backtrack to the page identifying the author, so I let it go. (Actually, by the time I've backtracked, I've forgotten why.) But down the road, this may result in lower ratings for the quiz. I appreciate when folks PM me if they find an error on my quizzes.

Have often thought the above myself.
Just 3 boxes:

Author only
Site only

... should do it?
