If you appreciate the knowledge you have acquired over the years thanks to your teachers, Teacher Appreciation week which lasts from the 3rd till the 7th May 2010, is the week in which you can show your gratitude.
This is for all the teachers, past and present, here on Sploofus that made a difference in a child's life.

Very nice video. The teachers I've been fortunate to work with are among the most dedicated people I've known.

Beautiful video Marsha, thanks for sharing. Though I have never been a teacher, I have spent many hours being a helper in the classroom, and I have had the privilege of watching some wonderful teachers at their best with the students. I am grateful and thankful for all the great teachers my children have had through the years, and know they will continue to have the same kind of caring and wonderful teachers throughout their school years.

Bless all teachers for putting up with brats all week long! I think all my teachers took early retirement after having me in their classes!

Hats off to all Sploofus teachers. You are engaged in a career that would leave the rest of us wilting.
My sincerest appreciation.

Beautiful and inspiring. If only the teachers were left alone in the classroom to do just that. Our teachers should be among the highest paid since they deal with our most important commodity--children and our future. The educational system in America needs our support and prayers.

What a nice post! It was especially great to read after another long day with eighth graders. The kids are great; they're what has kept me teaching all these years.
