As this is the most read Chat site, I'd like to repeat my views here.

Sorry, but I feel the new facility to 'promote' quizzes to all and sundry should be stopped right away.

To send out 'mass spam emails' to ginger up scores is a bit pathetic anyway.

I've already started receiving SploofSpam by the dozen - not from chosen 'buddies' nor on subjects I would ever take quizzes in. One or two individuals seem to have started a SploofSpam campaign for numerous quizzes at a time - goodness knows how wide their disttribution list is?

I've registered the people whose quizzes I specifically look out for.

Blocking individuals' names is no good - I don't want to block anyone from posting to me normally!

This SploofSpam has already become annoying. Please stop it before it becomes chaos!!!!!

I've never used it or received any requests. I never saw the point. I'm just glad that I was not inundated with request mucking up my mail box.

Thanks to the powers that be it's gone.

If you don't want it, stop it in your account preferences.

I actually liked it because I could send a quiz by me to people when it first came out so they didn't have to go look for it...

Of course that never happened 'cause I didn't have a new quiz out when that was up..

Thought it was kinda cool...

But Surreyman (and others)has been around alot longer than most of us ao to get a veteran to take one's quiz is an ace in the hole...

If it gets really out of hand, I'd have to agree.

I had one who sent me an invite on every quiz they wrote. I took a couple, but then it got ridiculous and I just deleted the messages. I don't have the time to dig up these people and say quit it. I enjoyed the message from someone I knew to remind me and I did take theirs, but the spam was horrible
Now I need to update my buddy list

I got several invites even though I don't use the buddy list and therefore they can't be on it because it's empty!

It's a good idea but obviously it's being abused - isn't it a pity how some people have to do that and ruin it for everyone else?

PS Which is not to say that the few I received were spam - they were genuine invites to do quizzes that the writers were correct in thinking I would enjoy, and I did.
