READ ME

I know there have been threads about this before but I can't find them. My friend Aimee12 renewed her gold yesterday and it hasn't gone through yet. I have been assigned the task of posting this for her. Since she's the one who got me addicted I really have no choice...lol. Anyway, do any of you extra smart Sploofers out there know how long it should take to go through? Thanks in advance for your help

Go see Vlcrowe's post in Salty Dog, titled "Lettermanfan1 needs some help...". It was OVER EIGHT DAYS since Lettermanfan1 paid by PayPal to renew her Gold when Vicki posted the cry for help!!!!

I don't know what's going on. It used to be almost instantaneous (it was when I first went Gold!!) or only take like a day.

Aimee, this stinks! You are catching me on the WR leaderboard, and now you have to wait for Gold!

Val, if an Editor does not respond soon like they did to Vicki's post, maybe try a stronger subject line to get someone's attention.

Thanks Jeanne and Sploofette. Hopefully it will be resolved quickly. I went platinum a few weeks ago and mine went through quickly. Maybe there's a glitch somewhere, who knows? Thaks again for your help

All set!

This happens when you do not click the little blue link in the upper right hand corner of your screen that says "Continue" after paying. PayPal needs to make that link larger. The Sploofus membership database is updated instantly if that link is clicked. 2 out of 3 people miss the link and so I manually upgrade those accounts in the database when I see a payment come in to PayPal.

I am hoping to setup a credit card system next year within Sploofus and ditch PayPal. They take a good share of each transaction.

Thank you all for your help, i'm back!!
Justin, side note - I actually did click the continue because I thought it would bring me right back to sploofus...but it didn't so i had to re-log-on... (unless there is a different continue that i missed) Either way, thanks for getting me back up and running.
...now i have to try and catch back up to missashlee!!! LOL
