This is a day or so late for mother's day, but you've got to see it. Emeril was at the hospital where I work this past Friday. There was not a dry in the place after this occurred.

Gary, thank you so much for sharing this inspiring story with us. Not a dry eye here either. She is so amazing and humble. The success of her children really tells her story.

Absolutely beautiful, Gary, what an amazing woman and mother, so unassuming and not seeming to even be aware of how special she was. I'm still crying... Thanks for sharing the video...

Beautiful story! But if Emeril ever manhandled me the way he did her, he'd soon find himself gagging on the business end of my mop!

Have you ever noticed that once the TV cameras are on, the reporter or other person in the spotlight seems to feel the usual rules of social interaction no longer apply?

What a lovely story about an amazing woman. Her children understand how wonderful she is also, even better. They'll pay it forward no doubt. Thanks for sharing.
