OK so sports in Pittsburgh has taken a hit. First Ben Roethlisberger acted like anything but a professional athelte, then the Penguins blew a 3-1 sreies lead in the playoffs, andthen there are the Pirates. After a hot start it seems they are destined for their 19th straight losing season. Here is hoping things get better.

Well, even with the loss, last night, it was a great year for the Pens, the Habs, were awesome, first the Redwings, now the Pens, they are a great team. I don't know if it was shown, anywhere but here, but after the game, the stands at the old Igloo were still nearly full.... and the Penguins did a final skate around, with sticks in the air to salute the fans...It was awesome!
The Steelers, are always a blast... let's hope that Ben, FINALLY gets his head on straight!
The Pirates? It's such a beautiful park......

The Penguins were only up 3 games to 2; not 3-1 and they will make some off season moves that will put them in great shape for next year.
Ben is either going to shape up or be traded.
And the Pirates - well .... OK they're still pitiful.

I like visiting Pittsburgh, but I'm not a Pirates fan [the Baltimore Orioles still owe them 2 World Series paybacks].
Go Orioles { some year }

My son went to grad school a few years ago in the Steel City- he's devastated about the Penguins losing!
Go Flyers- they're still in the hunt.
