I thought that it was utterly disgusting..........I literally cannot understand how a parent could let a child do this. How stupid!

I guess they pulled it but I went to youtube and did a search of "2 yr. old smoking" and good grief, came up with more than the one that was on the news today. I guess I live in a bubble......I had NO idea that things like this happened. There was one even of an 11 yr. old smoking pot........that I unfortunately can believe. Stupid parents.

1mks, I'm surprised you are surprised, because they are always reporting busting kids for pot possession in middle school, which can be as young as 10!

It is so discusting what parent allow these days.
When I found out that I was pregnant with my first baby, I quit
smoking "cold turkey". They didn't have the patch, gum and whatever else
to help withdrawls 28 years ago. However, I didn't suffer the withdrawl, instead I
ate anything that wasn't nailed down. I had gained 56 pounds during that pregnancy, and was so surprised that by my
6 week check up, I was back down to my size 8 jeans. I was still in my gymnast years, so that helped a lot!
To let your child smoke is child abuse, in my opinion. Maybe some don't share my opinion, but that's okay with me.

Also in the news last night, an uncle arrested for giving his niece (2 - 4 yrs old), drinks from his tea laced with gin. The child blew a breathalizer of 0.25. (0.08 is the legal limit in our state.)

The 2 yr. old was the one that surprised me. The 11 yr. old was NOT a shocker. I have had 2nd and 3rd graders come into the school building reeking of pot.........it is on their clothes and even their hair smells of it. They (the dealers) use elementary children all the time to deliver drugs. Totally a sad situation because they will never break that chain without help and most of the time, there is no help there for them. A teacher can do just so much......we can't follow them home......no matter how much we might want to at times in order to protect them.
