Congratulations, Dave!!! It has been a fun race to the top this month. Congratulations also to my other friends and outstanding competitors Gary, Diane, and Leslie for top 5 finishes. I can't wait for June to begin. There a couple of new competitors this month that we will need to watch out for. Come on out and play, everyone! This is one fun game where you can learn new things and meet some great people.

I only have occasional flashes of greatness on Word Puzzles (and most of that is in my own mind!) but I am in awe of those who can do well so consistently. Congrats to all!

Hey, Dave, can you send me a lock of your hair or maybe some fingernail clippings? I promise it doesn't have anything to do with a voodoo doll that will make you irresistibly choose Qs, Zs, and Js in every puzzle.

Congrats to the top players in May and all the others who regularly play the best game on Sploofus [in my opinion]
Between the editors and "plat" authors, we do come up with some great puzzles.
June is off and running!

Thanks everyone, though you have me a little scared, Leslie.

Finishing well on WPs is often a matter of luck. No doubt I drew less than my share of "killer" puzzles this month and finished in 5th more often than 6th. But more importantly, I was "lucky" enough to have Anne under the weather over the last couple of weeks, Leslie miss a few games, and smart folks like Gary, Barry, and Ken Kaufman speeding through the WPs like they were the Indy 500!

In the words of Mark Twain:

"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. I consider them unwise and I know they are dangerous. Also, sinful. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet retired spot and kill him."

Congratulations on a fine month - and thanks for providing a goal for me to aspire to in June (little chance though I may...)

What a great quote! I thought I had seen most of the good ones from Mark Twain, but I don't remember that one. Thanks, Dasfunk (and Mark Twain!) for a great laugh!

My congratulations as well to Dave and the rest of the top 5. I am in constant amazement at how you all excel on just about every subject.

This was the first month ever that I was able to do all the puzzles, and I was a distant 6th.
