I just wanted to take a showdown challenge and I clicked the showdown challenge key and nothing happened just told me that I have to wait 24 hours for another challenge. But in the showdown challenge there is the yellow color link that ive already made the challenge and I didn't even see what was the question. Can you help pls

There is something drastically wrong with the Showdown system. I lost over 300 million points this week by sitting there waiting for the question to appear after 3 or 4 minutes. When the question finally shows up and I press submit, nothing happens....

This sucks ...big time

If you have multiple Showdown tokens, you can only use one per 24 hours. Otherwise, you need to wait.

Bruno, sounds like you had the same prob as Ed. Do a support ticket. Don't think there is any other recourse...

For what it's worth, this problem seems to be related to the TQOTD problem mentioned in the most recent poll. It's also essentially what I experienced with TQOTDs during the Week Without Sploofus back in February when the new Sploofus server first went online.

I did a few TQOTDs back then because I had a few accumulated and only played them because they would have expired anyway. When I did play one, I either got the question and attempted to answer but then waited a long time for results but got an error message instead or never saw the question at all, but eventually got an error message. The error message was something to the effect that I attempted to answer a question that had either timed out or expired.

The problem back then seemed to be related to the utilization of the Sploofus server, which was apparently addressed with emergency programming changes, probably to make the code more efficient. With 14,000 members and lots of new features having been added lately, I think we might be approaching the same situation again.
