Great fun but....

I now have a new unfavorite website as a result of this puzzle. Got down to six or seven letters left in the alphabet and still had no idea. Memo to self; need to learn how to google better.

No you don't. I had the same nasty website and slogged it out, rather than admit defeat and go to the crutch. You're better for avoiding the Big G.

It's better to be reasonably competitive in the game (playing within the rules, by the way) than constantly offering a boring, sour grapes, holier-than-thou excuse.

I guess I missed that website - although I still got my usual piss poor score (and earned every bit of it)m I enjoyed it.

Lynn took a different approach on this theme, and it was interesting to follow the common thread. Through these WPs I'm learning about different sites that I never would have thought of.

(For those who do not like this particular Community Word Puzzle, you'll probably want to opt out of mine this evening. However, WPs - just as the variety of other trivia games Sploofus offers - provide different strokes for different folks. Some people love WPs where you can have a score of 5, some love non-Googlable brain teasers, some love new oddball facts, some love names of Welsh towns. If you wait 12 hours, a new WP will pop up for you to love, hate or complain about.)

Pink-screened with an on/in. I will never learn.

But I'll say it again: People are "in" TV shows, just like they're "in" movies.

Yeah, I was trying to come up with "Web" websites, just for something different. I hadn't heard of any of these websites before except Webkinz, which my grandkids have enjoyed. I'm guessing it's "webkinz" that Barry and Ken are referring to.

Thanks for the comments, although I'm not sure I really understand a couple of them.

As you say, webkinz was it... now webkiDz I might have stood a chance at!

But no doubt there was a way to have worked it out a lot faster.

I forgot to mention in my earlier post than I thought this WP was excellent--very clever. Thanks, Lynn.

Certainly not easy and when I got to Aunt May and Spider Man, I knew they weren't all your favorites, Lynn.

(BTW I had an Aunt May too)

Thank you for a braniac challenge.

I Google too, Cindy, and that's with a capital "C," and I have another website that I'm not sharing with anybody!

Oh I had an Aunt May also, lovely lady. Was it required that every family have one? I buy a LOT of toys for friends' kids (and now their kids) so webkinz wasn't a problem, the pink came from misspellings!

Thanks for sharing your favorite sites. Some interesting choices.
