This challenge was truly the mother...err...father of all word puzzles.

My dad's been gone since I was just a boy, but being a dad is one of the most important and meaningful things I've ever accomplished. My warmest regard to all of the dads out there - being a good dad is hard work, and I hope my daughter would come here and tell you that I've worked mighty hard.

Here's one wise man's remark about the influence of dad:

"You learn about life by the accidents you have, over and over again, and your father is always in your head when that stuff happens. Writing, most of the time, for most people, is an accident and your father is there for that, too. You know, I taught writing for a while and whenever somebody would tell me they were going to write about their dad, I would tell them they might as well go write about killing puppies because neither story was going to work. It just doesn't work. Your father won't let it happen."

Happy Father's Day!

Yet another unanticipated consequence of having a London-born wife.....

You see this expression and you know it's the name of a famous chef or cook:

__ __ __ I A __ __ I __ __

JULIA CHILD to anyone without a shelf full of British cookbooks...

DELIA SMITH to knucklehead me.

Maybe it was the bangers, baked beans and over easy eggs we had for dinner last night.

My puzzle didn't load, so I hit start puzzle again, then it said I had already taken; put in a request for a reset, which I did get-Thankyewverymuch.

When I went to help under Word Puzzles, it said this in one of the help categories:

" I have discovered a speling error in a WordPuzzle "
