SPLOOFERNATURAL LET ER RIP WP

Well done Sploofernatural.
I stunk up the joint and found two of my puzzles gimmes, two of them impossible and one of them --well I just blew it in more ways than you could imagine. But the idea was excellent and the clues just fine.

The first puzzle you get can cut the deepest to paraphrase a popular Cat Stevens song.
Although a potential letter muncher, once you catch on- the clues and concept grows on you.
I scored pretty well but only because my first puzzle didn't rip me apart.
Kudos for an interesting concept.

oh this was fun, even if I didn't get something obvious! Thanks.

It's so reassuring when Gary bitches about how badly he flubbed the WP, only to discover that he did better than you.

Thanks, Gary!

Dasfunk, just to mess with your mind, Garrybl is Barry and Slicko is Gary. Yep, it took me about a year to get used to that.

Great puzzle. The first one is a doozie, but then it gets fun.

Now you gave it away daveguth!

I didn't assume an alias just to confuse people; I joined before slicko....

Andy, are you confusing raspy voices again? I think you're quoting Rod Stewart.

This is quite a thread. First, the Barry/Gary mix-up. Then, while pointing out the Cat/Rod mix-up, Ken has mixed up Al and Andy. I'm getting very confused.

I've been confused a while now, but I loved that puzzle, even with the big boneheaded 3-point ouchie right off the bat.

Well done!

Hey! I finished in the top 50 ... quite an achievement for me. I definitely went through some letters but had a good time.

Very clever and fun - agree that first puzzle was the key.
I never mind being confused with Barry - only problem is the only thing I know about bridge is they allow you to cross a body of water. I've heard there some other kind but not sure what it could possibly be.

Took a while to catch on, but after that it was really fun.

I can't believe I actually know some popular music trivia! As Al noted, "The First Cut is the Deepest" is indeed a Cat Stevens song, covered by various artists. I think I like Sheryl Crow's version the best.

Great word puzzle, too!
