Okay, I liked it.....and for me, I did well. Thanks a bunch.

Very clever and very interesting. Some odd phrasing is a bit tricky at times and I was concerned that Barry was going to sneak an infamous 7-letter word into the mix, but I survived.

I've enjoyed every one of these and Barry's was outstanding too.

Phrases were well done. The website puzzles can be tricky.

Lots of fun, Barry, and a couple of sites I didn't know...thanks.

Enjoyed Barry's wanderings. Knew four of the set of five from my own experience .
The fifth was not a surprise to me knowing Barry's background a little.
His sly wit came through too.

I enjoyed the WP, in spite of the fact that I lost 7-10 moves because I inserted a punctuation mark automatically, then kept changing a key word until I finally spotted the punctuation mark. I hate when I do that. I would be in the top ten if my fingers didn't act on their own.

Glad there was nothing too obscure.
I was worried each of our quizzes would seem too similar overall, hence the odd joke or two.

I doubt whether anyone will find any of my sites useful or want to visit them unless they know them already. But I'm certainly looking forward to expanding my music repertoire on some of the recommended sites.

Barry, Au contraire. I didn't know there was a real-time bridge site...that will be fun. Ann

Hope you'll post your websites on the thread for those! Ann

Nothing too obscure, Barry, but I sure thought your bridge website would mention the ever popular vugraph. Actually, I was kind of disappointed. I figured us vets would get it right away, while the rookies would all suffer like we did last year!

By the way, one about the Mets was that I thought the wording was a little tricky--"The mets are magic watch them vanish from playoff contention." There's, of course, no rule about this, but that is two sentences. After so many single sentences or phrases, it just took an extra few moments. I'm sure there have been instances of this in previous WPs, but it did slightly jar my sometimes overly rigid mind.

There have indeed, Dave. And the Mets have had their "The magic is back" slogan for something like 30 years now, which is, I'm sure, what Barry termed it that way (not that I got that puzzle).

The only issue I'd have is with the Fandango puzzle, it asked where else to buy tickets to the in movie? May I humbly suggest the theater box office? Works for me, and no unnecessary middleman charges.

In New York we get first run movies (perhaps unlike Washington DC?) and since my wife likes to be first in at the latest and mnost popular release we can't wait to buy at the theater -- it is sold out.
plus NYC is the home of the late great Leona Hemsley 'Only little people queue'......
