Am I the only one bothered by the fact that you can't have a capital letter after a punctuation or two capital letters in a row? Like all the "U.s." quizzes, for instance.

Also, I'm going to sound pretty stupid here, but it took me FOREVER to figure out what in the heck "li" was. Well, it looks like "li", anyway. It actually is "II", as in "the second".

I just thought that after all the tension on the board, it'd be nice to complain about something pointless.

It doesn't sound nitpicky at all. If its something that can confuse a player, than it should be brought up. I personally use ii for the roman numeral 2. It saves confusion

I don't think it is nitpicking. I have gone from using the roman numerals to just numbers in my last set of multiple quizzes just because seeing that Ii drove me crazy!

It bugs me, too. Must be a glitch or something. Quite a few of my quizzes have titles that look like typos. I swear, they were correct when I entered them. :D

What's really odd is that I have one that appears correctly on my "created quizzes" page but not in the list of quizzes!

It bothers me too! The whole "Ii" thing really gets my goat....I hate it. I have no idea why it shows up like that when it looks correct when you create the quiz.

This must have been some pre-editing-days attempt to have standard capitalization....Now that we have editors checking all this, that logic should be removed, I think.

As far as I can tell, whatever capitalization you type IS saved. It's just when it shows up in the list, it's rendered with the "initial" caps even when all caps is appropriate for some things, namely Roman numerals and acronyms.

On the front page, they look correct. My Star Trek TOS quizzes [Plug! Plug! There have got to be more Star Trek fans out there! These are good quizzes, I swear! ] look right on the front page but not in the trivia quizzes page.

Don't think it's nitpicking. With all this emphasis put on "geographical location" when submitting quizzes, the addition of U.S. to the title appearing as U.s. makes the author look like an idiot! (I know, several of my titles ended up looking that way. It's easy enough for me to legitimately look like an idiot without Sploofus' assistance!!!)

Previously, I was forcing the string to lower case and the capitalizing the first letter of each word because so many people used lower case exclusively. I have now modified all of the scripts to show the quiz title as entered by the quiz author. Thank you!

Hehe, I'm just getting a kick out of seeing other people using the title, "Sploofmeister." Not to say that I created it; I'm not sure if I did or not. I hadn't seen anyone else use it until now, but I may have simply missed it. Just kinda feels groovy to have started a trend... Aw, geez, I'm a Sploof goof! (Will that be a new one I spread now? Woohoo! I hope so!) Goofily yours, TTFN, Diane
