When this WP is over, I'd love to know just what the title had to do with the puzzles. I did just fine, apparently, but I still don't get how "Take 2 Tablets" pertains. Just curious!

Lane - all you need to do is one combo puzzle with Barry and you will understand how his mind works (scary as that is). I think a Gallblactor puzzle would be great!
I caught on with puzzle one - it wasn't until the last one that I got really stymied. Clever concept - fun puzzle.

Actually, I have done a combo puzzle with him--the one with paired words that use every vowel at least once. But that was a bit different from this one in a way I probably shouldn't say yet. Anyway, I look forward to the explanation once the WP is over, because I still can't figure it out.

Fun puzzle. A bit tricky and challenging, but worth the effort.

I think the theme and the clues were not always sufficient to determine the answer. As in cases where multiple vowels would be equally applicable.

It's now been explained to me by a couple of people, including one of the co-authors. I have to say, it was a bit too subtle for me to figure out, and the true explanation was one that never occurred to me. Clearly you DON'T have to understand a WP's premise to do well, though I must say it helps!

so what did the title mean? I have an idea but not sure.

Originally the title was just "Take Two Tablets", but we decided we should include "Films" or "Movies" in the title. The two tablets are a reference to the 10 Commandments, written on two stone tablets. Each phrase is a movie title twisted so that it includes the topic of a commandment.

Here's the list:
never slay never again ("Bloodless Bond")
the lying in winter ("Deceitful Royals")
high infidelity ("It sounds sexy")
steal magnolias ("Garden party thieves")
the holcroft covet ("Ludlum gets greedy")
the lust weekend ("Remember this one")
sabbath day night fever ("Sacred dances")
meet and honor the parents ("It's Ben instilled")
from beyond the graven ("Afterlife images")
swear eagles dare ("Curse of the raptors")

On reflection:

1) I think we went over the top here.
The theme was a valid one but it was tough to clue the titles fairly.

2) I was worried this would be the last WP ever and justin would close the system down because of us. I'm glad we lasted beyond that.

I had a totally other idea and it didn't really change my outcome! Oh well, didn't really think a long time on it LOL.
