CAN AN OLD QUIZ BE A COMUNITY CHALLENGE QUIZ?

Is there anyway to change a quiz already posted on the site into a community quiz?

The first quiz I wrote was about an award show and would fit into this month’s category.

Thanks
Heather

I also have one like that, which has been up for several weeks. Mine is on the IgNobel Awards, and I wrote it and put it up just before the topic was announced for this Community Quiz. But I don't think they can be moved into the CQ category, so I am in the process of writing another, and at Tuzilla's request, easier quiz.

The note about quiz difficulty was from the feedback on the quizzes from people who wrote them and took them. Many reported noted asking for easier quizzes. Write whatever you want. It was just the passing on of information received.

I don't think you can change a quiz's category any more, so the answer would no.

However, you wouldn't actually want to, since an existing quiz will have been live for so long that it would no longer be listed on the new quizzes front page and therefore it wouldn't be noticed by those looking for the CQ quizzes.

Berylm,

I personally don't use the front page as a crutch. When Community Quizzes are released, I simply choose CQs in the By Category menu, then choose the current month's subcategory. I can repeat that as I see the number of visible (i.e., untaken by me) quizzes dwindles to just one -- my own.
