I keep timing out on my daily question at about 8 to 10 seconds. Arn't we supposed to get 30 secons or something. also I neve take as long as the site says I do to answer a question. Anybody else have this problem?

I don't have this problem - but it sounds like trouble caused by a very slow connection. You should be getting 30 seconds for your question of the day.

You might want to ensure that whilst logging on for question that nothing else on your computer is competing for bandwidth.

In addition try logging on a different times of the day - I am in the UK and my wordround (an i suppose my qotd) load times vary through the day depending on sploofus server traffic, general internet business and local contention ratios.

If you are a gold member you can do a word round every 6 minutes throughout the day (and sometimes it seems that I do) - you will soon learn at what hour - and even (if you are an obsessive like me) which minute of each hour the load times are quickest.

Hope this helps - you could also try a support ticket to Sploofus via your command centre.

I have had this problem in the past when I followed the link from the Email, now I ignore the Email and access my QOTD from the command centre - no problems for ages.

When I connected through my email - it was slower and had problems quite often - now I connect directly into the site and go through the command center too - hopefully that will help you.
