It's nice and quiet in here. I think I'll stay for a bit. Only problem is I couldn't find any of the said beer (Ken must have freed it all) - only a martini! Ah well - it'll do.

That breakfast sounds horrid, although my six year old may disagree. But anyone who is not sick of eating something that had wings at one time, there's a pot of good ol' chicken and dumplin's on the stove. With french bread and pecan pie for dessert.

Mmmmm, comfort food. And yes, there is beer in the fridge. In fact, I'm headin' that way now.

I once walked into a public restroom and saw a person through a handful of change in the toilet. I said, "Why'd you do that?" He said, "You don't expect me reach in there for a quarter, do you?"

that reminds me of this joke that's at least 100 years old about a guy trying to fish his jacket out of an outhouse toilet.

his friend says "dude, you don't want that jacket anymore!"

the guy says "i know, but i have a sandwich in the pocket"

I think we need to roll the wagon back out and uncork a few just because we made it this far into a new year with no arrests.

Can't believe this thread was started a year ago. Time surely does fly, because I remember it being started as a diversion from another hot topic in another thread, but guess it was too many beers ago, since I don't that.

I am such a maroon! I thought it just started today, and I thought "Wow, this is the fastest growing thread I've ever seen." Either these people don't cook for Thanksgiving, or they are already cooked!

I had Abba in the 70's. Not as dynamic as one would think for a quartet.

I'm in the mood for some Black Crows, I think.

Oh, Embee, I prefer the Big Two Hearted Ale! and if you have the chance, go to the annual unveiling of the Eccentric Ale (Eccentric Day at Bells Brewery in Kalamazoo, MI). But be sure to dress as your most eccentric side of your personality.

I once made Larry Bell a pair of "beer goggles" for the celebration...

I LOVE two hearted ale also, but the winter white is only available through the end of the month. I can get the two hearted ale year round.

Eccentric day sounds like a blast. I'll have to check it out. Any Sploofusers want to join me? We have a pretty eccentric group here

Do you have any good old Arkle's bitter from Wiltshire, in UK. I used to drink it in the 6os. it really made awful smells in the morning.
