Wow!! I hope we are finished with the idioms so I can start doing WP's again. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Twice I looked for a sword to fall on, but finished it anyway.

I am not sure how any one could have done these without using google/wiki/or something like that. MAN they were hard and my head hurts!!

I haven't done tonight's yet, cause I'm still hurting from this morning. I got very lucky, but I didn't have a good time. Here I go for round 2

I enjoy WP about as much as anything Sploofus has yo offer, but idioms are not for me. I will pass until things get back to normal

Maybe it was a method to catch cheaters. I hope that was the reasoning behind idioms. By the second puzzle ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...............

To me, any WP that is not in English is like saying "here's a bunch of letters I've arranged in random order - try to guess them."

Hear, hear, Eesus - my thoughts exactly.

It doesn't stop me playing them, but with no way to tell what the letters are likely to be it's just a question of random clicking until you happen on the right one (hopefully before you lose all your points)!

I enjoyed the one containing French idioms--it reminded me that I used to know some French! But Finnish? That was as bad as the Welsh castle one a few months ago. Just clicking letters at random because anything I know about the frequency of letter occurrence in English doesn't apply anymore.

But I do like the variety.
