Although self explanatory, have still to get a satisfactory answer on this issue. Does anyone know.

I posted a ticket last November 9, and up to this day; have not heard anything yet...much less the I posted a week or so ago

You really should not expect to hear back on a support ticket. These are the way to report problems to Justin; don't think of them as the beginning of a dialogue. He receives hundreds every week. Think about yourself in your job: if you received hundreds of comments, complaints and suggestions from your customers every week, how would you handle them? And still have time to actually do any work?

Justin does read them and deals directly with the most egregious. The others he catalogs so he can track trends among systems, browsers, utilities, server functionality, scripting of features, etc. He deals with issues at it becomes apparent that they are not isolated incidents.

The recent decision to ban FITB came from the thousands of support tickets (over the past year) complaining about too many of them pushing other quizzes off the front page, and other related complaints.

If your issue was something you really believe you should be contacted about, you could post it here and one of the editors could try to answer your question, or give the subject/problem an extra push in Justin's direction.

lost a big wager that day due to a timeout [not to mention going from .8 down to zero]...the second ticket was about contesting the answer to a tqod, fear of flowers, if my memory serves me right.

many thanks

Sorry about that wager loss - how did you have the guts to wager with a .8?

I have sent Justin a reminder to look for you support tickets.

I hope that when you reported that TQOTD you included the reference number - otherwise they are nearly impossible to find!

This slipped by during the server move and I can not find a record of the support ticket. Can you please re-send and I will be sure to process it immediately? Be sure to include an estimate of the points lost and I can go into the system, verify the activity, and refund them.

I am so sorry this has taken so long!

I was in a roll with physci questions...had answered four straight in that subject up to that point.

Was at level 18.8 on November 9, and did a maximum wage of some 9 Million plus points.

On another topic, and about a couple weeks i also got a TQOD on vocab and the clue was fear of flowers...the "correct" response that day came back as "ANTHROPHOBIA" which is not correct (should have been ANTHOPHOBIA). Obviously, I chose something else, but believe I was somewhat misled. Did also raise a support ticket on this one.

I tried to send a support ticket yesterday and it came back from MAELER-DAIMON (or howver the mailer demon spells it.

My concern was that my daughter "Joey" wanted to take my latest quiz (that's mostly why I write Rock quizzes, to test her knowledge of rock (which at times seems better than mine). On her screen it showed that she had already taken it. When I went in to look at scores, her name does not appear.

Is there anything we can do about this so she can take that quiz, or was it a momentary flook.

Thanks and sure - I guess it's not the end of the world that my daughter can't take my quiz (or quizzes), although it could be the end of my quiz writing if she can't, since I am doing this more as a family thing.

Suggestion - next time you're at level .8 and a question comes up that you want to wager on, just keep it for a few days until you've answered another couple of questions and moved up to .0 on the next level - *then* answer that question and play your wager!

It won't help points-wise if you lose but at least you won't fall back nearly a whole level as well!

should have called this post "How many times do you need to issue support mails/tickets before your concern gets answered"...more than one month doing this and still no cigar

Mystic, I had the same experience. I lost major points on a showdown when the screen just locked and the answer I had clicked didn't get sent. I'm sure I answered the question faster than the other person, because it was a rare question that I knew and clicked almost instantaneously. I lost only a small percentage of the points that you lost, but they were a lot of points to me. My support ticket was never answered either, and I want my points back!

Nice to know i'm not alone...i have submitted my last email to the support team to see if this time things work out. Ironically, on December 4, i was told that things would be resolved

Dunno, let's see.

I hope your 'lost' showdown points are credited back
