Sorry, had a comment to make, but am trying to avoid the mayhem of the original thread. I submitted 4 quizzes last night. One was rejected for punctuation. The editor fixed it, and then asked me to check it and resubmit it if I agreed with the change. (I had an unintended, seriously long, run-on sentence) 2 of the other ones were approved, with a note that spelling was corrected on one and typos on the other. (Don't know what was wrong with me last night. I try to be very careful about that) Here is my comment. While I appreciate the editors fixing these quizzes, (thank you, whoever you are)I think they have enough on their plates just getting them approved. I would also like to see my quiz unfixed, so that I can see where I went wrong. Either way works, really. Just another viewpoint on the subject.

I imagine the editors are trying to be helpful and fix some of the minor things (like 1 or 2 typos) themselves. The way some people are getting upset about how strict and picky Sploofus is supposedly becoming, just think how upset people would be to have their quiz rejected for 1 or 2 typos!

By the way - you misspelled "punctuation" in your post title - lol!

Sorry - couldn't resist

I sure did! I must need a vacation or something. LOL I am usually a very good speller, and do fairly well at grammer. This place just brings out the worst in me I guess.

I completely agree with you on that last statement. I'm usually a good typist and speller/grammar/etc, but when a quiz comes back and I made a stupide mistake, well.... You understand

I see you point and would note that the last quiz I had "fixed" came with a note like the one you received, but it also included what was fixed. That satisfied me. Would the same satisfy you? I liked the idea the quiz was then active and not stuck in a loop.

I haven't received any quizzes sent back to me or fixed, but I have used spell-check first. I also re-read the questions and answers, to try and help out the editors, before launching the quiz.

Maybe you could try this first too. It does seem to catch the little errors.
