I just took a new quiz that every single question (there were 20) had the correct answer twice. How does that get by an editor? I know the correct answer isn't designated to them, but you should still pick up on the double entries.

I'm not trying to be picky, but I get my quizzes back for stupid little nit picky things, and this gets by? When I say little nit picky things I mean I get them sent back for things that go through most of the time. I know the editors try to be on the same page, but obviously they have different pet peeves.

Needless to say I'm much more generous with the "Quotation Marks" then I Anyway, not trying to complain too much, but every once in awhile I feel the need to vent. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

if the error was that consistent, then it is more likely to be a glitch in the programming than in the writing or editing.

I just did a brand new quiz by nettiemommy that had 20 questions. It didn't have any repeats. Was this the quiz?

I'm not trying to make an excuse for why an editor lets a quiz go through with answer keyed in twice (which is possible, I know I have done it myself), but your message title was "Help Me Understand". I know for myself, that letting the second set of answers go through is one of the easiest things for me to miss. This is because after I edit a few quizzes, I sometimes get into automatic mode where I am so focused on reading for spelling, capitalization, and grammar, that I know longer pay attention to the content/meaning/context of what I'm reading and so I don't even notice that I am reading answers twice. It is even easier to do if it's a boring quiz topic for me. I'm sure you have been reading something very boring and eventually find yourself reading the words even though they are no longer registering in your head. It still is an error on the part of the editor, but just trying to explain how/why it could happen.

Sorry - I got your thread title wrong. It was "I don't understand". I knew it had something to do with understanding - lol.
