TWO MEMBERSHIPS FROM ONE COMPUTER?

It seems that some people have spouses and children who sploofus from the same household. My daughter would like an account to do the kids' puzzles. But after recent cheating episodes, it seems that multiple accounts from the same ISP address are not allowed.

I fear a life-long ban from Sploofus if I try to sign DD up.

How does this work? Does she need a separate e-mail account? Separate browser? Separate computer? Separate house?

Thanks!
Elizabeth

I would go for the seperate house.lol

Seriously though, I think this has been discussed before and the rules state it is ok.

There are a few people on here that have sons/ daughters who (presumably) use the same computer.

It is ok really.

I am one of them - in fact I use three computers and my daughter has signed into Sploofus with all three, as has my brother when he visits.

There are no problems with multiple accounts from the same computer.
Many Sploofusers are family members in the same household, all using the same computer.

The problem arises when the SAME PERSON has multiple accounts with Sploofus: Does that person intend manipulating the knowledge gained from one ID to cheat whilst using the other ID?
Why else would you create more than one ID?
I cannot think of any legitimate reasons!

Three different Sploofers, maybe four, all Gold Members have played from my computer. As long as you don't do anything crazy, there should not be a problem. Start taking all your own quizzes and rating them '9's, suddenly blowing everyone away at Word Puzzles, the heavy gavel of Sploof Justice will most surely come down upon you. Play by the rules,..nothing to worry about.

Thanks all. After that warning that players from the same computer address (I forget the word for that) would be terminated without notice, I thought it best to check!

Way back, I checked with Sploofus management, and they OK'd my wife and son using my computer under their own names (and, in one case, a different email address).
We don't know each others' passwords.
Unfortunately, my son is now rapidly overhauling me in the Levels Leaderboard!
I seem to remember I was told that:

/1/ No problem whatsoever with this arrangement.

/2/ Sploofus can see that the three accounts are linked, and any 'funny business' would be very rapidly noted and capital punishment would follow!
