I've just had a quiz rejected as I forgot to include in my description that the quiz had some (not all) UK based questions in it.

I think it would be a useful idea to have to say when you are creating a quiz whether it be mainly US, UK, or other and not be able to submit your quiz until you have selected a country too.

There have been so many occasions when I have taken a quiz that appears to be something that would really interest me only to find I've never heard of most of the things it relates to as they are from the US.

I hate to moan or to ask for Sploofus to spend even more time changing the set up, but I think this tool would go a long way towards making this a far more international site, which would only make it a lot more interesting for us all.

I think that you have a great idea. However, I'd like to ask you to elaborate. I may be misunderstanding exactly what you mean, but I don't think having to choose a country for every single quiz is the best route to take, since not all quizzes are single country-specific. Some are applicable to anyone in the world. As I said, perhaps I'm misunderstanding your intent. Perhaps, should Sploofus choose to require a country specification for all quizzes, one could choose a category that specifies that the quiz is universal and not country- or region-specific. I do think your idea is a very good one, and, should it be implemented, will prove highly beneficial to all players.

How about making it fairly plain in the description?

Is the quiz about things in just one country? If so, which.

Or, the quiz covers more than one country.

Or, the quiz has nothing to do with countries (science, etc.).

That seems pretty easy to do.

I try to remember to add into the description if it's more UK biased, but find that not many other people do this and I therefore end up doing quizzes that I wouldn't normally take.

I thought that maybe if there was a section in the quiz creation where we can specify either International or a space where you HAVE to state who your quiz is more suitable for.......then people wouldn't end up doing a quiz on Danish TV programmes expecting it to be US or UK etc........

I just think that now Sploofus is becoming more internationally popular it might be a good idea to make it easier to distinguish between quizzes.

Even if all the questions are not UK based, to even have that in the description allows me to choose if I want to take the quiz. If you choose not to read the description, than that is the fault of the quiz taker.
I took a quiz that was mostly UK based (music) and all it said in the description was 'who is it'
Needless to say that my score was lousy. But I didn't take it out on the quizzer, I just sent a message saying that it needed to be more descriptive. I even told him/her to put that it was mostly UK based, and to state that it was about boy bands or whatever it was...

Sometimes less is more, but in this case a few choice words help all involved.
